OpenCentric's business model includes a 5% platform fee on transactions generated through the platform, including Catalog listings, Community business activity, Apollo campaigns, and introductions created by OpenCentric. This policy explains what constitutes circumvention, why it matters, and the consequences of violating it.
Circumvention means completing or initiating a transaction, engagement, subscription, booking, payment, delivery of services, transfer of goods, or business relationship outside the OpenCentric platform with a party, buyer, seller, supporter, customer, provider, or opportunity that you were introduced to or identified through OpenCentric.
This includes moving Catalog checkout, Community-originated business, Apollo campaign commitments, Studio referrals, verified provider introductions, or Mesh Intelligence recommendations off-platform to avoid the platform fee.
This applies regardless of whether the off-platform transaction is conducted immediately after the introduction or at any time within 24 months following the initial introduction.
OpenCentric invests in workspace infrastructure, profiles, business pages, Catalog discovery, payment facilitation, Ledger records, Community trust signals, Mesh Intelligence, Fabric automation, and support workflows. The 5% platform fee funds these services and keeps transactions connected to the trust, support, billing, and observability users rely on.
You may discuss the scope of a potential engagement through any channel after an introduction is made.
You may decline a match introduction and choose not to proceed.
You may use OpenCentric-generated materials outside the platform only if your plan or written agreement expressly grants that right.
You may bring an existing customer, vendor, student, client, or partner into OpenCentric without owing a platform fee for work that was already under contract before OpenCentric generated the relationship.
OpenCentric monitors for circumvention through self-reporting, third-party signals, and contractual audit rights included in our Terms of Service. We take reports from either party seriously.
If we determine that circumvention has occurred, we may charge the full platform fee based on the estimated or actual transaction value, suspend or terminate your account, and pursue legal remedies.
Both sides of a transaction are responsible for keeping OpenCentric-originated business on-platform. Ignorance of this policy is not a defence.
If you believe a counterparty has circumvented the platform, please contact us at legal@opencentric.ai with details. We will investigate and respond within five business days.
These product-aligned statements describe OpenCentric's current intended practices. They should be reviewed with counsel before relying on them as final legal terms for a production launch.
